Policy-safe ad copy for skincare, beauty and wellness brands
Policy-safe ad copy for beauty and wellness avoids asking about the reader's body or health, avoids cure and weight-loss promises, and only states claims you can prove. HookVerdict writes from the claims in your brief and flags every draft for personal-attribute phrasing, cure or weight-loss claims, unproven superlatives, fake urgency and missing ASCI disclosure.

Why this is hard
Meta restricts ads that imply it knows something personal about the reader, such as "Struggling with acne?". Health and wellness ads face extra rules, and claims like "cures" or "lose 5 kg" are a common reason for rejections.
India's advertising code also expects claims to be true and provable, and creator content to be clearly marked as an ad. One bad line can get an ad rejected, and repeated rejections can put an ad account at risk.
How to do it in HookVerdict
01List only claims you can prove
In Brand, put lab results, certifications and the numbers on your pack under the claims you can prove. Drafts may state only these as facts.

The Brand section with a drafted brand brief (app preview, sample data). 02Generate drafts
In Create, generate angles for your product. Hooks and copy are written to describe the product and the situation, not the reader's body.

The Create section choosing a format, language and angles (app preview, sample data). 03Read the flags
Each draft lists policy flags with a short reason. A blocking flag must be fixed before the draft can be approved.

The review queue with policy flags on each draft (app preview, sample data). 04Add banned words
Add words your brand never uses to the brief. They are checked on every draft, in every format.
Tips
- Describe the situation ("humid summer days") instead of the person ("your oily skin").
- Say what the product contains and how to use it rather than what it will cure.
- If a creator speaks in your ad, disclose it as an ad. UGC scripts include a disclosed caption.
When HookVerdict is not the right tool
Our checks flag common problems; they don't guarantee Meta or Google will approve an ad, and they aren't legal advice. For a regulated product such as a medicine, get a regulatory review before you advertise.

Questions
- Does it check Indian-language copy?
- The personal-attribute rule reads English, so Indian-language versions rely on the English source being clean. Other checks run on every draft.
- Can I add my own rules?
- Yes: banned words in your brief are checked on every draft.
- Will this guarantee approval?
- No. It lowers the risk of common rejections. You stay responsible for your claims being true.
