How to test Meta ad creatives so every test teaches you something
To test Meta ad creatives well, run a few genuinely different ideas at once, write down what each one should teach you before it runs, and wait for enough spend before you call a winner. HookVerdict writes the different ideas with a hypothesis each, and its rules flag losers at 2× your target cost per order and call winners only on enough data.

Why this is hard
Many brands test the same ad with different words. When one wins, nobody knows why, so the next ad is a guess again. When one loses, the money teaches nothing.
Meta also chooses which of your ads to show. Ads that are nearly the same compete with each other instead of reaching new people, so a test of five small rewordings is really one test.
How to do it in HookVerdict
01Write your brief
Add your product, your real margins and the claims you can prove in Brand. Your margins decide what a winner is: an ad that sells but loses money is not a winner.

The Brand section with a drafted brand brief (app preview, sample data). 02Generate different angles
In Create, ask for several angles. Each one targets a different buyer or reason to buy, and each comes with a hypothesis, such as "buyers care more about price per use than about ingredients".

The Create section choosing a format, language and angles (app preview, sample data). 03Approve a small set
Approve three to five ideas that are truly different. Fewer, more different ideas reach a verdict faster than many small variations.

The review queue with policy flags on each draft (app preview, sample data). 04Bring in results
Import an Ads Manager CSV under Tests (or connect Meta once your connection is set up). Each ad gets a verdict: winner, loser, weak hook or still learning.

The Tests section with a verdict for each ad (app preview, sample data). 05Read the weekly report
Every Monday the weekly report says which hypotheses held, what to iterate and what to stop. Iterate a winner by changing one thing at a time.

Tips
- No verdict before an ad has spent about 2× your target cost per order and run 3 days. Small samples swing wildly.
- Kill an ad that has spent 2× your target cost per order with no result.
- Change one variable at a time when you iterate: the hook, the persona, the offer, the format or the language.
- Judge winners on what you keep after COD, returns and GST, not on platform ROAS alone.
When HookVerdict is not the right tool
If you want software that buys media for you, builds audiences and changes budgets automatically across many campaigns, a media-buying tool such as Madgicx fits better. HookVerdict focuses on the ideas you test, and nothing changes in a real ad account without a person approving it.
What it costs
Free for your first 3 months, with everything unlocked and no limit. After that you pay only for what you use, at what it costs us, with no markup, plus GST. A live generation costs about ₹1.20 per variant (est.). See pricing for every rate.
Questions
- How many ads should I test at once?
- Three to five genuinely different ideas is a good start for a founder-led brand. More ideas need more budget to reach a verdict.
- Does HookVerdict change my ad account?
- Never by itself. Every change waits for a person to approve it, and the Meta connection is still being set up.
- Can I use it without connecting Meta?
- Yes. Write and export drafts as a CSV, and import your results from an Ads Manager export.
